Our candles are made from a food grade paraffin wax, which is just as safe and clean burning as soy. Food grade paraffin wax is also used in some food. Our 26oz candles burn time is roughly 110 hours, and our 16oz candles burn time is roughly 90 hours. (DO NOT BURN FOR MORE THEN 4 HOURS AT A TIME) You will never be dissatisfied with our candles as they burn long, clean, and the aroma never changes. We use zinc core wicks, these wicks have a cotton fiber braid surrounded by a zinc core. Zinc core wicks produces the coolest flame and offers the most rigidity of all cored wicks, providing support during pouring and burning. Our dye blocks are made of vegetable-based dye so there are no unsafe chemicals in these color blocks. Our candles are safe for humans and pets to breathe in but remember to always keep candles out of reach of children and away from pets.
We use food grade paraffin with a mix of natural 100% soy in our wax melts. Most 1-oz wax melts will warm in an electric warmer with a strong scent throw ranging anywhere from 8–12 hours, depending on the scent type, size of your wax melt, and whether you are burning your wax melt continuously or in intervals. Do not use no more than 2-3 wax melt squares at a time. The wax melts will eventually lose their scent, and that is when you discard the old melts melted and add more.
Candle care & Safety (Wax melts included)
You should never blow your candle out because it can create substantial soot on the container, turning the jar black, and that is not only unhealthy, but it makes your candles look gross.
The reason why you should use a wick dipper to put your candle out is because it coats the wick in wax which will help it light easier for next time, you will have little to no smoke/soot come off the wick, it cleans any candle bloom (mushroom) off the top of the wick for a cleaner look.
The reason to use wick cutters is to keep your wicks at a safe ¼ height, for a safe lighting, so it will not overheat or give off smoke, it will keep your wicks from giving on soot, and to make sure the best life of the candle is maintained. (you should only cut your wicks when your candle is completely cooled down and hardened) The candle jar will be hot after burning, so allow the wax to cool completely before handling. Once the flame is extinguished make sure the wick is upright and centered, Extinguish the flame carefully by snuffing it rather than blowing on it. Only burn your candles for no more then 4 hours out of time, do not leave candles unattended, by flammable items such as curtains, do not leave candle on floor when lit, do not let your candle stay lit overnight, do not leave candles in reach of small children, or pets serious injury can occur, do not eat or drink the candle, do not use for hair or skin, do not leave candle to close to a wall or ceiling, Never burn candle next to anything that can cause a fire, is flammable, or has a draft, do not light candles in a small tight room where air in limited, DO NOT leave candles on non-heat resistant surfaces, this includes beds, carpet, couches and more material flammable items. NEVER ADD WATER OR LIQUIDS TO ITEMS THAT ARE HOT OR CONTAIN OIL! Keep burning candles away from furniture, curtains and drapes, bedding, carpets, books, paper, flammable decorations, clothing, hair, don’t place your candles under shelves as there is a lot of heat above a burning candle. There should be at least 1m between the candle flame and the surface above it. Make sure your candle is free of wick trimmings, matches and debris at all times as these things can catch fire. Making sure that you place the candle away from any drafts, vents, fans or air currents will prevent rapid and uneven burning, avoid flare-ups and soot. Strong drafts could also blow nearby lightweight items into the flame where they could catch fire. While candles do require ventilation so that they do not exhaust the oxygen in the room, they should also be kept away from drafts in order to ensure a controlled burn. Once the candle is lit, never touch or move it. It is dangerous to pick up the candle while it is still burning or while the liquid wax is hot, do not burn your candle all the way to the bottom. It is generally recommended to stop using the candle once there is only 1cm of wax left if it is a container candle, this ensures that the wick remains vertical and that the burn stays under control the whole time. When placing candles make sure that burning candles are placed at least 10cm away from each other. This will help the candles not melt each other or creating their own drafts which would cause uneven and improper burning. Burning a candle is a potential fire hazard and even when you have followed all the other safety advice, you must never leave a lit candle burning unattended. Fire is unpredictable, so always be aware of how your candle is behaving, If you are going to leave the room, be sure to first put out all candles, It is a simple rule for anything that burns, fires should never be left unattended, as some can easily tip over if you did not place them flat or in a safe area to burn, greatly increasing the chance of fire. Wax melt safety is the same as candle safety. NONE OF THESE ITEMS ARE CONSIDERED TO BE A TOY OR TO BE PLAYED WITH. Do not pour melted wax into the drain, or into plastic, make sure nothing you are using in cracked or broke, such as glass or the wax melt burner, AVOID contact with eyes and skin, if contact occurs, flush with water. If irritation persists, contact a physician.
